The well-known badrinath temple positioned in the high Himalayan area of Uttarakhand will be stopped on November 20 this year for the winter period. Now the doors of the shrine will be open another time in April-May after 06 months of the winter time. Chief Executive Officer, BD Singh, of Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee told here that the doors of Badrinath Temple will be closed for devotees on 20 November, at 03:21 pm.

On the event of Vijayadashami, at the shrine building after the devotion ritual, the closing time and date was decided by Dharmadhikari Bhuwan Chandra Uniyal & the other employees of the temples. through this instance, the Chief priest of the temple, Raval Ishwari Prasad Namboodari was also present. 2000-3000 devotees were present in the devotion in the temple on the festival of Vijayadashmi although the cold winter due to snow falling on the top of the hills of Badrinath.
